What was
impressive with Gas2Electricwas the extreme cost reduced
measures they implemented to their electric car conversion kit. They reduced
the cost to about $300 to build.
Although impressive, there cost cutting could lead to problems
in the future as parts will wear much quicker. Sometimes its not
worth to cut costs. Their idea and concept is similar to
Electricity4Gas
but with out their special technique to get maximum
mileage and speed.
The problem we found was it was more theory and not enough practical instructions.
They also have some bonus books. The bonuses were ok, but there was a few useless ones in there also.
Convert To EV was the 3rd place manual in our tests. Unfortunately
this electric car conversion manual was difficult to
understand and it seemed like the missed steps. The concept is there but
poorly designed and written. Our tests showed 75 miles per charge. It
must be because of there battery selection. Once again cheaper is not
always better.
This is why
